Dan’s road bike is built using a blend of Columbus Spirit, Life and Spirit for the lugs and tubing to create a wonderful balance of classic slim lines with a modern feel: Comfortable, yet stiff in the right places. It’s the ultimate bike for the fast club runs and long days out on those 6-hour rides in the hills. It would be competitive in a road race, yet equally at home in the mountains. It’s the bike that the traditional road man dreams of and is one of my very favourites to date. It was also a chosen nominee for ‘Best Campagnolo Bike’ at Bespoked 2017, but missed out on the podium due to the wheel choice, not that Daniel had anything to worry about with that.
